The four-day program is facilitated by EO DC member Verne Harnish, EO founder, CEO of Gazelles Inc. and the Master of Business Dynamics and creator of the highly acclaimed Birthing of Giants program.
Cost
Program fees for the Advanced Business Program are:
If you have previously completed Year 1 of the program:
US$2,195 for EO members
US$2,695 for non-members
If you have not completed Year 1 of the program:
US$2,995 for EO members
US$3,495 for non-members
Fees include accommodations, meals, books and other course materials. Program fees do not include airport transfers, alcoholic beverages and other personal incidental expenses.
Registration If you participated in the Birthing of Giants Class of 2005 or 2006, completed the Advanced Business Program Class of 2006, or started but did not complete the Advanced Business Program, you are invited to register for the Class of 2007, Year 2. Please complete the registration form and invoice.
Class Size and Criteria
This program is limited to 60 business founders who gross more than US$1 million annually and are over age 40. Additionally, all graduates of the Birthing of Giants program are encouraged to apply, even if they are under 40 years old.

Verne Harnish
The founder of two world-renowned entrepreneurship organizations, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (ACE), Verne is presently founder and CEO of Gazelles, Inc., which serves as an outsourced corporate university for mid-size firms and hosts a faculty of well-known business experts including Jim Collins, Geoff Smart, Jack Stack, Neil Rackham, Seth Godin and Pat Lencioni and sponsors benchmarking trips to GE, Southwest Airlines, Microsoft and Dell.
The “Growth Guy” columnist for several publications and a contributing editor for Fortune Small Business magazine, Verne is the author of “Mastering the Rockefeller Habits: What You Must Do to Increase the Value of Your Fast-Growth Firm,” which was released in April 2002 and has been translated into Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Named one of the “Top 10 Minds in Small Business” by Fortune Small Business Magazine, he appeared on the cover of the December/January 2002 issue of the magazine.
Verne founded the renowned Birthing of Giants entrepreneurship leadership program at MIT and the WEO Advanced Business Program. He also chaired, for many years, the leadership program for Canada’s prestigious “Top 40 Under 40” program and is going into his fifth year leading an executive program in Malaysia titled “Taipan, the Making of Asian Giants.”
Given his expertise in the field of entrepreneurship, he has appeared on several national television and radio programs including Smart Money, CBS News and Nation’s Business Today, and has appeared in stories in over one hundred magazines and newspapers including Forbes, Inc. and The Wall Street Journal.
Verne has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Wichita State University. He is married to Julie and has a nine-year-old son, Cameron, a seven-year-old son, Cole, and a two-year-old daughter, Jade. His hobbies include piano, tennis and magic, and he is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Honors include National Leader of the Year for Omicron Delta Kappa (leadership honorary organization) and being one of the first two recipients of the National Laureate Award for Leadership by Tau Beta Pi (engineering honorary organization).
